Pathfinder

Denial… Awakened… I moved on…
Is it? Did I. I have to! But how?
It is always there…
(sit’s and thinks)
And I see myself one more time
Forsaken, weak and wounded.

It wouldn’t stop
The memories…
No… The past…
That cannot end
It is always there
The footprints
Marks the scar
Left behind…

The fork on that road
I thought is forward
Naught… It isn’t
But the path you took
So this is it.
Your strength
Your pain
The suffering you shared
The wounds you inflict

And another fork
Forward… no
Not yet.
There is still much to know
The dark horizon
That embodied you
(stands)

I survived you
And there
The face oh so familiar
Smiling at last
Those eyes I wished

And the feeling is there
As it has always been

I wonder where this path would end

Midnight Waltz

There is rhythm in dance
Where body and mind
Sway upon subtlest emotions
Movements smooth and flowing
Such an unseen force
Surging from within
The dance conquers
The dancers’ soul
There are whispers
Almost unheard yet entirely seen
Upon the edge of hearing
Near silence yet serves as guides
As tempos and beats
as lovers dance the midnight waltz

Restrained

[Questions]

how would one act
amidst restraints
when words are not meant
to be spoken
to be in doubt
to even bother
to search for strength; within
word’s of dire
consequences unknown
how would one gamble
against flush aces
when the king of hearts
is left hoping for a queen
should one pass
give up his lot
or flip a card
and bet it all
tell me
how did i end up…
…in silence…
hiding beneath loud voices
wishing upon a smile

Feast of a hundred Candlelights

The light has already been lit
like flowing water
the flames crept away
consuming everyone on its path
giving warm tears, and joy.

You who stand before it
your candle shine before you
will you face another day
will you pass the flame
to the other person
holding a candle behind you..
