Err
The 15th century found the world to be round, before that those that advocated that our planet is not simply flat land and water is either persecuted then hanged or condemned as witches and rightfully burned at the stake, the irony that with age comes wisdom.
The young to be recognized by the old had to perform exquisite feats and lifelong rituals under the scrutiny of the elders, and when he who had passed such endeavors to enter the circle of wisdom, had lost his youth, assimilated their culture and traditions that…. he is no longer of the young but of the old.
The elders sees the youth as energies that may explode without any precautions, capable of plunging themselves into turmoil unless guided strictly on their bounds of standards. The standard the current generation of the old had set for others to follow.
